Our community is For The Kids 365 days a year. UMDM supporters participate in events that help raise funds and awareness for Baystate.
The annual FTK Carnival is a chance to celebrate all things FTK with games, food, and music all hosted by team sponsors. Students are able to register for UMDM and learn more about the cause.
CHILD HEALTH DAY 5K
Beginning in 2019, participants in the Child Health Day 5K ran for Child Health Day, a day that honors the 62 children that enter a Children's Miracle Network Hospital every minute.
BE THANKFUL WEEK
Each year before Thanksgiving break, we show our gratitude for our dancers and their continued support for Baystate. Each day of the week is dedicated to the dancers depending on how many years they've been a participant while also promoting registration and fundraising for the upcoming year.
UMDM SPORTS GAMES
Each spring, FTK's Morale and Steering committees debut a preview of the morale dance during halftime at a UMass Men's Basketball game to hype up UMDM! Our Miracle Children and their families join in on the fun of cheering on the team and even participating in the dance. The UMass Panhellenic and Inter-Fraternity Councils also team up to organize Greek Night and fill the stands with members of the Greek community.
Each semester, members of FTK and UMDM participants have the chance to visit Baystate. While touring and connecting with patients, they can see the direct impact their fundraising has on the hospital.
CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL WEEK
Along with other schools across the country, UMass FTK participates in Children's Hospital Week - a week for spreading awareness of children's health and ensuring children's hospitals have the funds they need to care for their 10 million patients each year.
DAY OF HOPE
10 days before Dance Marathon is FTK's Day of Hope, an annual fundraising effort that serves as a reminder of why we are for the kids and what we hope for the kids at each Dance Marathon.
