You Can Change Lives Too!
Get Involved Today.
Being a morale captain means getting people amped up and excited before and during Dance Marathon! Morale captains help recruit other dancers and teams to participate and fundraise for Dance Marathon as well as lead dances and activities during the event. Morale captains embody the spirit of the kids we dance for. Keeping people happy and excited all night long helps us raise more money and show the kids how much fun we’re having helping them. Morale is an extremely important part of Dance Marathon and it’s one of the most fun parts!
If you think you’re the kind of person who can BE A KID, FOR THE KIDS, apply for moral today and help us keep the Dance Marathon party going all night long! Questions? Contact our VP of Morale, Isabella Caruso.
UMass FTK Dancers are spirited individuals who are looking to get involved in the largest growing student-run philanthropy on campus. Your role will be to enjoy the many activities throughout the event, fundraise For The Kids of Baystate Children’s Hospital, and dance alongside other patrons of UMass FTK. Marathon Dancers are the heart and core of Dance Marathon. You will have the opportunity to network with other driven students, give back to your community, enjoy live entertainment, hear firsthand stories from local Miracle Families, and make a real difference. Join a team or create your own! You do not need to be part of any preexisting RSO or Greek Organization to get involved!
We hope you join us in celebrating in 12 hours of dancing fun. Register to be a FTK Dancer today!
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
"Over the four years that I was an undergraduate I participated in the Dance Marathon fundraiser. It was not until my senior year, however, that I became more involved. UMass For the Kids quickly transformed from a group that produced a once a year dance-a-thon, to an organization of passionate individuals striving year-round for an incredible cause. UMass For the Kids continues to grow and I believe the feeling of all those involved, is that in ten years the event will include thousands of participants and raise even more money for the kids. One way to accomplish this growth is to have its participants continue fundraising after graduation. This is why I have decided to continue my participation in Dance Marathon and try to attract fellow Alumni. Together, we can transform Dance Marathon and most importantly, save kids lives!"
